Vacation on Your Agenda

Front Door

The condo will allow you to vacation on your agenda, giving a sense of home in Venice while providing several amenities. The condo features an outdoor sitting area, living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room also doubles as an extra sleeping space, allowing the whole family to fit comfortably, though pets are not allowed. A community laundry room lies a few doors down, while a community pool is across the street. Make sure to bring your pool bracelets, and you can enjoy the pool which features multiple seating areas and direct beach access.

The historic village of Venice, situated on the Gulf of Mexico, features numerous activities right outside of your door. Most everything the village has to offer is walking distance. Within the village is a strip of boutiques and local restaurants, perfect for a night out for dinner and a show at the theater or a bike ride in the morning for French pastries and shopping.

The public beach is where many localize, but is never too crowded. You can enjoy yoga in the early morning, and even paddle boarding lessons. Further down the beach is Sharky’s pier, famous for fishing and their coastal delicacies. You can watch the breathtaking Florida sunsets from here or the jetty, where many locals flock. The jetty is almost across the street from the condo, next to the Crow’s Nest restaurant.

The area is comprised of communities adjacent to Venice. Nokomis is slightly north of Venice, which offers a citrus orchard at Nokomis Groves and beautiful beach spots on Casey Key, where you can take advantage of the waterfront with paddleboard and jet ski rentals. Further north, Osprey is known for its golf club community and several parks.

One of the best ways to get to the Venice area is to fly into Sarasota. From the Sarasota Bradenton Airport, it is an easy 40-50 minute drive to the condo. (Fort Meyers and Tampa are also reasonable locations to fly into.) The city of Sarasota has many things to offer, making for a fun day trip. St. Armand’s Circle features 150 shops, including designer brands and local offerings, as well as several dining experiences, such as Tommy Bahamas. Mote Marine Laboratory is a great place for the family or anyone interested in Florida marine life. In Sarasota Bay are the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, which highlight the unique beauty of Florida’s foliage.
